My dad gave me a design for a cable organizer and asked me to create and print the model. The idea is to have a square bracket with an arch and at the feet two holes for magnets.
From these measurements it was a pretty simple model to create in FreeCAD. I initially made each leg of the arch 0.33" but this left a noticable rounding error. Instead when I set the the length of each leg I entered into freecade "1"/3" and that produced a more precise measurement. Being able to let the CAD software calculate the decimal places was a pleasant surprise.
